Nouveau Griboo et voile de l'été 2019
Our new Griboo and summer sailing 2019
Nous venions tout juste de vendre notre trimaran Telstar 28.
Nous avions décidé d'attendre un peu avant de regarder pour un autre voilier, et de profiter de notre campeur.
Mais... on voit "par hasard" sur Kijiji ce petit bijou que nous avions eu l'occasion de voir à La Baie en 2017.
On a pas pu résister, et on est partis pour Québec pour aller y jeter un coup d'oeil.
We had just sold our Telstar 28 trimaran.
We decided to wait a bit before looking for another sailboat, and enjoy our camper in the meantime.
But... we discover "by chance" on Kijiji this little gem that we had the opportunity to see in La Baie in 2017.
We could not resist, and we went to Quebec City to have a look.

Nous étions au début d'avril.
Il était littéralement enseveli dans la neige

We were in early April. She was literally buried in the snow.

Nous sommes évidemment tombés en amour et le 30 avril nous sommes allés le chercher.
We obviously fell in love and on April 30 we went back to Québec City to bring her home.

Nous avons rafraîchi l'intérieur en changeant le tissu des matelas,
et avons ajouté quelque coussins pour une ambiance chaleureuse.
We refreshed the interior by changing the mattress fabric,
and added some cushions for a warm atmosphere.

C'est un Nimble 25, un petit pilothouse construit en Floride en 1991.
Ce sont des bateaux très recherchés car ils sont de construction solide et ils ont du caractère.
Our Griboo looks great !
It's a Nimble 25, a small pilothouse built in Florida in 1991.
They are very sought-after boats because they are of solid construction and they have character.

Le 19 juillet, nous sommes allé passer la nuit à l'ancre à l'Anse à Bouchard, tout au bout du Cap à l'Ouest.
On July 19, we spent the night anchored at Anse à Bouchard, at the far end of Cap à l'Ouest.

Le 23 juillet, nous sommes partis pour quelques jours en flotille avec trois autres voiliers.
Et devinez quel bateau nous accompagnait ? Notre ancien catamaran DesertCat !
Avec à bord nos amis Anthony et Élise avec leurs enfants,
ainsi que l'habile rénovateur du bateau, notre ami Hubert.
On July 19th, we left for a few days in a fleet with three other sailboats.
And guess what boat was accompanying us? Our former DesertCat catamaran in person!
With onboard our friends Anthony and Elise with their children,
as well as the skilful boat restorer, our friend Hubert.

Le lendemain c'est le retour en direction de La Baie,
à voile/moteur dans un très petit vent.
The next day,
we're motorsailing back in very light wind. 		Le capitaine est relax.

André-François, qui avait pris les devants le matin, avec son rapide grément, nous a attendus à Sainte-Rose-du-Nord.

Finalement, nous les quittons pour aller mouiller à l'Anse à la Croix alors qu'eux vont continuer jusqu'à La Baie.
Finally, we let them go back to La Baie, while we are going to anchor at l'Anse à la Croix.

Ancrés devant le Site de la Nouvelle-France, nous en avons profité pour faire trempette dans l'eau fraîche car la canicule sévissait.  Nous avons dû improviser un bimini pour se protéger du soleil.
Anchored in front of the "Site de la Nouvelle-France", we took the opportunity to take a dip in the cool water for the heat wave was raging. We had to improvise a bimini to protect ourselves from the sun.
