À la découverte des habitants du désert Discovering the inhabitants of the desert

Eh oui ! Il y a de la vie partout... La preuve: ces petits melons du désert qui poussent dans les creux où l'eau s'amasse après les rares pluies. Yep ! Life is everywhere ... To prove it: those small desert melons which grow in the hollows where water accumulates after the scarce rains.

Le chamelier n'était pas loin et voici qu'en bons touristes la famille se fait photographier avec lui. The camel herdsman was close by and here, playing real tourists, the family is photographed by his side.

Puis vient le moment des adieux Then come the farewells	Marc doit apprivoiser le Suburban dans les dunes... il est pas mal plus long que son Land Rover. Marc must get used to his Suburban in the dunes... It's much longer than his Land Rover.

Soudainement Lise se retrouve avec une grosse sauterelle sur le bras All of a sudden, Lise has a visitor on her arm: a grasshopper

Nous nous trouvons un suberbe campement pour la nuit dans les dunes rouges du Dhana, cette bande de dunes qui relie le grand désert du Nafud au nord et le Rub Al Khali au sud de la péninsule arabique. We choose a superb camp spot for the night in the red Dhana dunes, this long strip of dunes that connects the great Nafud desert in the north to the Rub Al Khali in the south of the Arabian peninsula.

Nous distinguons très bien sur cette photo satellite l'arc formé par les dunes du Dhana. We perceive very well on this satellite picture the arc formed by the Dhana dunes.

À perte de vue ... As far as the eye can see...	Remarquez le sable virevoletant au sommet de la dune, c'est très venteux ! You can notice the sand flowing at the top of the dune, it's windy !

Après une promenade et séance de photos dans les dunes, c'est l'heure de l'apéro. After a stroll and a photo session in the dunes, it's "apero" time.
	Souper frisquet... Chilly dinner....
C'est le moment d'allumer un feu, car une fois le soleil couché, ça va refroidir très vite. It's time to light a campfire for once the sun's set, it's gonna chill quickly.
