voici devant un des bâtiments historiques de la Vieille Pulperie
de Chicoutimi, qui fut le premier complexe industriel fondé par
des canadiens français en 1896. Au début du
siècle, c'est la plus importante usine productrice de pulpe de
papier au monde. |

Here
I am, in front of the remains of one of the historical buildings of "La
Pulperie de Chicoutimi", which has been the first industrial complex
founded by French Canadians in 1896. At the beginning of the
Century, it was the largest mechanical pulp mill in the world. |

Et cette usine fonctionnait grâce à l'énergie hydraulique
de la rivière Chicoutimi. |
|
|
|
|
|
And this mill was working thanks to the hydraulic energy
of Chicoutimi River. |
