Ma bonne amie Estelle et son conjoint Paul, qui nous ont invité pour un repas et une saucette dans leur spa, à Saint-Alphonse de Granby. My good friend Estelle and her husband Paul, who invited us over for a meal and a dip in their spa, in St-Alphonse de Granby.

On a pas l'occasion de voir les cousins et cousines très souvent.  Exemple: ma cousine Linda.  Enfants nous étions inséparables, puis par la suite on s'est perdues de vue pendant un bon moment jusqu'à l'avènement d'Internet.  Linda opère un site web pour les anglophones francophiles:  www.infrench.com Allez y faire un tour, vous y trouverez de tout pour tous les âges....en français. We don't have the opportunity to see our cousins very often. For example: my cousin Linda. When we were kids we used to play together all the time, then we lost each other for quite a while until the coming of Internet.  Linda is operating a website for anglophones that love French language :  www.infrench.com   Have a look, you'll find everything for all ages... in French !

Deux amies de très longue date, maman et ma tante Laurette (mère de Linda). C'est maman qui avait présenté son frère à son amie Laurette et elles sont devenues belle-soeurs ! Two long-time friends, mom and Aunt Laurette (Linda's mother).  Mom had introduced her brother to Laurette and they became sisters in law !

Nous avons passé la soirée chez mon cousin Normand (frère de Linda) qui habite le Canton de Shefford, tout près de Granby.  De gauche à droite: Thérèse l'épouse de Normand, les jambes de maman, ma tante Laurette, Linda, Simon et Normand. We spent that evening at my cousin Normand's house (Linda's brother), who lives in Canton Shefford, near Granby.  From left to right: Thérèse, Normand's wife, mom's legs, Aunt Laurette, Linda, Simon and Normand.

Oh! J'oubliais Belle, la chienne de Simon et Linda. Oh! I was forgetting Belle, Simon and Linda's dog.

Maman et moi avons aussi fait un petit saut chez mon frérot, à Saint-Denis sur Richelieu. Mom and I also went to visit my brother Benoit in St-Denis sur Richelieu.

J'en ai profité pour photographier la seule aquarelle que j'aie jamais peinte, et que j'avais donnée à Benoit.  Il y a de cela 14 ans ! I took the opportunity to take a picture of the only watercolor I've ever painted and given to my brother. That was 14 years ago !

Juste avant de revenir au Moyen-Orient, je suis allée manger en compagnie de mon bon ami François et sa nouvelle copine Johanne dans un tout nouveau resto japonais de Granby: Sakura Just before coming back to the Middle East I had lunch with my good friend François and his new girlfriend Johanne in a new Japanese restaurant in Granby: Sakura

It's been a feast for the eyes and the taste buds !
