Petanque Evening - October 25 2005

C'est le 25 octobre dernier que nous avons vraiment inauguré notre terrain de pétanque dans la cour arrière. Nous avons invité les meilleurs parmi nos amis: John et Pam Snakenberg ainsi que Dennis et Véronique Conrad.
It was on October 25th that we've really inaugurated our petanque pitch in our backyard. We had invited the best among our friends: John and Pam Snakenberg and Dennis and Véronique Conrad.

Le tout a débuté par un "potluck", chacun apportait un plat.
It all started with a potluck, everyone brought a dish.

Lily surveille son papa qui s'apprête à se servir.

Tout le monde a bien mangé et est prêt pour la game.
Everyone is full and ready for the game to start.

Marc s'amuse avec Lily, assis au bar qu'il a construit.
Marc is having fun with Lily, seated at the bar that he just built.

Nous avons dû déloger Sushi avant le début de la partie.
We had to remove Sushi before the game started.

Véronique se demande bien comment elle a pu faire un coup pareil.
Véronique is wondering how she possibly could have done this.

Lily est la marqueuse officielle.
Lily is the official marker.

À gauche: John doit redoubler d'efforts, tirant de l'arrière 10-5.
