L'intérieur fut repeint à l'éponge.  Cela cache les imperfections. Thie inside has been "sponge" painted.  That hides the imperfections.
Tout le bois fut sablé puis passé à l'huile de teck.   All the wooden parts have been sanded, then brushed with teak oil.
Dans un magasin de Khobar décrépit qui s'apprête à fermer, Marc a déniché un mécanisme de pompe semblable au vieux qui était cassé. Il fitte parfaitement. C'est un modèle qui doit avoir disparu du marché depuis belle lurette.   On a repeint le siège aux couleurs du jour.... ;o) In Khobar, in an old boat store that is about to close, Marc found this toilet mechanism similar to the old one that was broken. It fits perfectly. It's a model that has probably disapeared from the market since a long time.   We repainted the seat to fit the new color of the boat accessories... ;o)

Sous un bimini de fortune nous effectuons quelques menu travaux et à l'heure du lunch notre ami Rory passait par là sur son bateau à moteur, il en a profité pour prendre quelques clichés. Under a makeshift bimini, we had some more work to do.  At lunch time our friend Rory was passing by in his motorboat. He took the opportunity to take a few pictures.
Puis ensuite, sous un très petit vent, nous sommes sortis à voile. After lunch we went out under a very light wind.
Après ces longs mois de travail, nous pouvons enfin en profiter... After these long months of work, we can enjoy sailing at last....

Durant la course (que nous avons gagnée...), un autre concurrent, David Overmeyer, qui naviguait seul sur Little Julie, s'est libéré une main pour prendre quelques photos lorsque nous l'avons croisé. During the race (that we won by the way...), another competitor, David Overmeyer, who was sailing singlehanded, freed one of his hands to take these pictures when we were crossing his path.

Et pour notre retour à la voile, nous avons eu droit à une escorte de dauphins pendant un bon moment. And to tell us: "welcome back to sailing", we had an escort of dolphins for quite a while.
