Vacances au Québec, été 2010 Vacation in Québec, Summer 2010
Nous avons passé une agréable soirée avec Robert et Francine.  Marc ne les avait pas encore rencontrés en personne. Il leur a apporté chacun une guthra d'Arabie.  Ca a dû faire ressurgir des souvenirs à Robert, lui qui a travaillé en Iraq à la fin des années 70. We spent a nice evening with Robert and Francine. Marc had not met them in person yet. He brought each of them a guthra from Saudi Arabia. That must have recalled Irak to Robert, who has worked there at the end of the seventies.
Puis Benoit est venu souper avec nous un soir. Voici notre entrée de crabe d'Alaska, asperges et pleurote. Then Lise's brother Benoit came for dinner one day. Here is the appetizer of giant crab from Alaska, asparagus and oyster mushroom.
On a dégusté ça avec une bonne bouteille de Sancerre. We enjoyed that with a nice bottle of Sancerre wine.	Et puis on étrennait notre nouveau barbecue à gaz. And we were using our brand new gaz BBQ for the first time.
T-Bone et légumes grillés.  Marthe sera-t-elle capable de manger cette énorme portion de viande ? T-Bone steaks and grilled vegetables. Will Marthe be able to eat this enormous portion of meat ?
Brunch chez Francine, la soeur de Marc.  Mais où sont donc passé les gars ? On dirait bien qu'on a pas ressorti la caméra de la journée. On a soupé chez Guy, le frère de Marc et on a aucune photo. Brunch at Marc's sister house, Francine.  But where are the boys ? It looks like we put the camera away for the rest of the day.  We had dinner at Marc's brother house and we have no pics.
Première rencontre entre grand-papa et Louévan. First time that grandpa meets Louévan.
Julie était bien heureuse de nous revoir, même si ce fut de courte durée. Julie was happy to see us again, even if it was for a short time.	Kahëlee a l'air de se demander: c'est qui eux ? Kahëlee seems to wonder:  who are they ?
C'est ton grand-papa et une de tes grand-mamans lui dit son papa. It's your grand-dad and one of your grandmas, daddy tells her.	Et nous avons fait notre tournée des animaux de la ferme. And we toured the farm to see all the animals.
Les vacances se sont terminées en beauté avec un souper de famille du côté des Gagnon. Linda et Simon, Normand et Thérèse et Martine et Richard. On a pris une seule photo et malheureusement il y a des visages cachés... :o( We ended the vacation in good company with a family reunion from mom's side. Linda and Simon, Normand and Therese and Martine and Richard. We took a single picture and unfortunately there are some hidden faces... :o(
