Des Grands Harles, deux femelles, se reposent au milieu de la rivière. Common Mergansers, two females, rest in the middle of the river.	Un couple de Mésanges à tête noire ont élu domicile dans un nichoir au bord du lac. A pair of Black-capped Chickadees have taken up residence in a lakeside nesting box.
On ne se demandera pas pourquoi Cheeva est tombée en amour avec Marc.... We won't wonder why Cheeva fell in love with Marc....
L'enseigne décrit très bien notre petit domaine familial. Trois Lamontagne, une Roussel, une Sauvageau et un Michel. The sign describes very well our small family estate. Three Lamontagnes, a Roussel, a Sauvageau and a Michel.
Le matin du 10 juin, le garage arrive ! On the morning of June 10, the garage arrives!	La super longue remorque s'ouvre comme un rideau. The super long trailer opens like a curtain.
Voilà le garage !  En pièces détachées il est vraiment minuscule. Here is the garage! In parts, it is really tiny.
Un couple de Tyrans tritris nichent quelque part sur le terrain. On a jamais vu le nid mais ils sont omniprésents à virevolter partout. A couple of Eastern Kingbirds are nesting somewhere on the estate. We have never seen the nest but they are ubiquitous twirling all around.
On croirait que ce sont deux espèces différentes, mais non ! Ce sont le mâle et la femelle d'une seule et même espèce:  le Carouge à épaulettes. One would think that they are two different species, but no! Red-winged blackbird male and female.
La fille de Louise, Andréanne est en visite, elle a apporté sa Licorne flottante ! Et Jackie l'accompagne sur son matelas gonflable fabriqué avec des poches de viniers ! Louise's daughter, Andréanne is visiting, she brought her floating Unicorn! And Jackie accompanies her on her inflatable mattress made with wine bags!	Le chien d'Andréanne, Apache, s'est tout de suite senti chez lui sur notre patio de roulotte. Andréanne's dog, Apache, instantly felt at home on our trailer patio.
À la mi-juin, voici qu'arrivent les sous-traitants d'Hydro-Québec qui viennent installer les poteaux pour amener l'électricité à nos terrains respectifs.  Ils en profitent pour planter un nouveau poteau au chemin car celui qui est là est trop vieux. In mid-June, the Hydro-Québec subcontractors arrived to install the poles to bring electricity to our respective sites. They take the opportunity to plant a new post on the road because the one that is there is too old.
Les oisons Bernaches grossissent à vue d'oeil. The Geese goslings are growing visibly.
Le 18 juin, visite surprise de notre ami André-François Bourbeau, qui a décidé d'aider Marc à fixer le petit quai sur l'ile. On June 18, surprise visit from our friend André-François Bourbeau, who decided to help Marc to install the small dock on the island.
Puis, ils se sont bien amusés en faisant une course de kayaks. Then, they had a lot of fun racing kayaks.
Le garage commence à prendre forme. The garage is starting to take shape.	Et les modules du chalet préfabriqué arrivent. And the manufactured sections of the guesthouse arrive.
25 juin, la dalle de ciment du garage est coulée. June 25, the cement slab of the garage is poured.

Le 28 juin arrivent les murs du chalet ! On June 28th, the guesthouse walls arrive!
Marc et Michel sont très contents de l'avancement des travaux cette journée là. Marc and Michel are very happy with the progress of the work that day.
Un Roselin pourpré femelle s'est pointé à la mangeoire. A female Purple Finch showed up at the feeder.
Le lendemain, la toiture de tôle est installée. The next day, the sheet metal roof is installed.
Du côté du lac donnant sur l'entrée, la pente était trop abrupte pour pouvoir marcher et faire le tour du lac.  Marc a entrepris de niveler un petit sentier, au pic et à la pelle. On the side of the lake facing the entrance, the slope was too steep to be able to walk and go around the lake. Marc undertook to level a small path, with a pick and a shovel.
Le 30 juin, c'est jour d'isolation ! June 30th is isolation day!
Ici, Marc est sur le bol de toilette, Jackie est dans la douche et Guy à l'évier de cuisine. Here, Marc is on the toilet bowl, Jackie is in the shower, and Guy is at the kitchen sink.	On joue aux dés en fin de journée, en prenant l'apéro. We play dice at the end of the day, while having a drink.

Le 6 juillet les bébés Bernarches sont rendus pas mal gros ! On July 6, baby Geese are getting pretty big!
