Mardi soir chez Arch, ce fut le recouvrement en fibre de de verre du nouveau plancher de cockpit. Tuesday evening at Arch's house, it was the covering of the new cockpit floor with fiberglass.
Le mélange de l'epoxy. The mix of epoxy.	Ils ont l'air de s'amuser pas mal! They look like they're having fun!
Jeudi - Thursday
Après l'achat de bons masques et d'une sableuse orbitale, nous en avons emprunté une autre à Arch et nous avons sablé la coque. After buying good masks and an orbital sander, we borrowed another one from Arch and we sanded the hull.
Pause rafraichissements et grignotines Break time, refreshments and snacks.	En fin d'après-midi c'est pas mal complété. At the end of the afternoon, it was almost done.
Avant de partir, on doit poser les autres renforcissements des côtés du plancher du cockpit.  Ici Lise nettoie la cavité avec du varsol. Before leaving, we must put more reinforcements to the sides of the cockpit floor. Here Lise is cleaning the cavity with paint thinner.
Marc met les morceaux en place et installe des serre-joints. Marc puts the pieces in place and holds them with C-clamps.
Vendredi - Friday
On est allé prendre notre marche à 5h00 du matin, et à 6h00 on est allé à Doha, ville voisine, s'acheter du Adas (purée de lentilles) et du pain arabe frais pour déjeuner. We went for our daily walk at 5:00 AM, and at 6:00 we went to Doha, a neighbouring town, to buy some Adas (lentils puree) and fresh Arabic bread for breakfast.

De retour au bateau, Lise agrandit les craques pour pouvoir les remplir de putty. Back to the boat, Lise enlarges the cracks in order to fill them with putty.	Gros plan Closer view
Pendant ce temps, Marc déshabillait le bateau de ses derniers morceaux. Meanwhile, Marc was stripping off the boat of her last pieces of wood.
Le dernier morceau à enlever: le gros taquet d'amarrage. Last piece to remove: the mooring cleat.	Et nous nous remettons au sablage. And we're back to sanding.
Ce fut une autre bonne journée de travail. It's been another good day of work.	Avant de partir, on est allé relaxer un peu sur le quai au soleil couchant. Before leaving, we went on the dock for a bit of relaxation at sunset.
