Certains morceaux ont besoin d'être rafistolés.  Ici une hiloire. Some broken pieces need to be fixed. Here a coaming.	Un peu de colle et les serre-joints feront le reste. Some glue and the clamps will do the rest.
Dans 24 heures ces sera bien collé. In 24 hours it's going to be well glued.	Remplissage des trous de penture des couverts de rangements du cockpit. Filling the holes of the hinge of the cockpit locker covers.

De retour au bateau, pour faire encore du sablage. Back to the boat, to do more sanding.	Et encore du creusage des cloques. And more digging blisters.
Ce fut suivi par une soirée souper et Jazz au Blue Strawberry en compagnie de nos amis Will et Lisa, Arch et Susan, et Rory. It was followed by a nice Jazz dinner at the Blue Strawberry, in company of our friends Will and Lisa, Arch and Susan, and Rory.

Il a plu toute la nuit et c'est encore le déluge au petit matin. It rained all night and it's still the flood in the morning.	Tout à coup, les camions de recherche sismique de pétrole s'arrêtent dans notre rue pour sonder le sous-sol. All of a sudden, the trucks for seismic oil search stop in our street to sound the substratum.
En attendant que la pluie cesse nous travaillons dans le garage. Ici Lise enduit les pièces de bois d'huile de teck. While waiting for the rain to stop we work in the garage. Here Lise is coating the wooden pieces with teak oil. .	Et Marc bouche des trous sur les hiloires. And Marc fills some holes on the coamings.
Puis le temps s'éclaircie et nous allons rejoindre nos amis à la plage. Nous prenons l'apéro avant d'aller manger au petit resto. Then the sky clears up and we join our friends at the beach. We're having the "apero" before going to eat at the restaurant.	Au menu: entrée d'humus, et sandwiches, poisson ou filet mignon.   C'est la fête de Susan. On lui réservait une petite surprise. On the menu: Humus as appetizer, then sandwiches, fish or steak. It was Susan's birthday, we hd a surprise for her.
Gâteau mousse au chocolat. C'est Marc qui a écrit les voeux...en français bien sûr ! Chocolate mousse cake. It' Marc who has written the wishes... in french of course !	Pour accompagner le gâteau, sorbet aux framboises sur bâtonnets. To serve with the cake, raspberry sherbet on sticks.
Toute bonne chose a une fin, et nous sommes retournés travailler au bateau pour quelques heures. Pendant que Lise continuait à travailler les cloques, Marc posait des soutiens pour faire des fonds aux rangements du cockpit. All good thing has an end, and we went back to work on the boat for a few more hours. While Lise was still working the blisters, Marc made some holding to put bottoms in the cokpit lockers.
