Après avoir vendu Jupiter, notre Flying Fifteen (voir "Avril 2005"),
un ami, John Snakenberg, nous a donné un vieux catamaran dans le
but de ne pas perdre notre membership à la plage de bateaux de
plaisance . C'est un Hobie Cat 14 pi. que nous avons
complètement remis à neuf.
After we sold Jupiter, our Flying Fifteen (see "April 2005"),
a friend of ours, John Snakenberg, gave us an old catamaran in order
for us not to lose our membership at the boating beach.
It's a Hobie Cat 14 that we completely refurbished. |

Dès lors, nous l'avons apporté sous un abri pour pouvoir travailler à l'ombre.

Nous
avons trouvé Dalia parmi la flotte de catamarans sur la plage,
Le bateau n'avais pas été mis à l'eau depuis au
moins 7 ans !
We found Dalia among the catamarans fleet at the beach. She had not been in the water
for at least the last 7 years ! |

Puis une fois le sablage terminé, nous avons envoyé Dalia au AAA pour la peinture.

Entretemps, on se tenait occupés avec le nettoyage de la trampoline ainsi que des voiles.
In the meantime, we kept ourselves busy cleaning the trampoline as well as the sails. |

|
|
|
Malgré
leur âge, les voiles sont en bon état. La
grand-voile n'avait qu'une petite éraflure à
réparer.
Despite their age, the sails are in quite a good shape. The mainsail had just a small graze to repair. |
